As expected in a historic hotel, the rooms are a little small, but they were very comfortable and very clean and had everything you would want. I can’t speak for any of the hotel amenities (bar, restaurant, etc.) because we didn’t use them. Every time we came in and out of the hotel we were greeted by a staff member. We arrived early in the day and we just stopped in at the front desk to see when our room would be ready, and not only did they help us check in early, they also gave us great restaurant recommendations and nicer rooms! We were blown away at the great customer service we received from Jamari at the front desk. Well, you can’t get much closer than right across the street! Parking in their garage was very easy and $29 seems very fair to me, especially given that we could come and go as we wanted. We were in town to see a show at The Fox and I wanted to be close enough to walk to the theater. Sorry guys but it was awful!! Maybe when you book your room, opt for the breakfast included option, then you can keep your hopes in perspective. The breakfast here should be on the Atlanta’s worst list. I’m not going to go all in, I’ll just say Atlanta has some pretty amazing food. Please don’t forget the Bourbon Pecan Pie with the AMAZING maple bourbon ice cream!!! Soooo Good! Ok about breakfast. Yes the bathroom is TINY, but because of the history of this 1920’s landmark they must be preserved but the cosmetic facelift they received is really nice! You can’t have it all! The bartenders are nice and dinner in room was good. The rooms were renovated last year and are clean and functional. The customer service is why I keep coming back. If you are an artsy bright personality that loves color and texture this is a great find. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this hotel. We got there early and barely queued but later on there was a massive line! The Civil Rights Museum was very well organised, interesting and moving. We thoroughly enjoyed our tour of the stadium, led by great tourers (booked in advance) and Coca Cola World. We were pleasantly surprised that we were able to walk to Coca Cola World, The Civil Rights Museum and the NFL stadium in about 20 minutes or so. ![]() The hotel is well placed for local attractions and restaurants by foot. The room also had an excellent and easy to access safe. The beds are very comfy! As mentioned previously by other reviewers, the bathroom was very small but it had a great shower. We stayed on the 6th floor facing Peachtree and it was fairly quiet. Breakfast was fine, not very exciting, but did the job and was included in our room rate. From check in until check out we were looked after really well by very friendly and eager to help staff. We stayed here for two nights at the start of a road trip around Augusta, Tennessee and the Carolinas.
